Back again. And once again, things are a little different. I thank God for providing so faithfully- there is nothing that I can say that I lack ~ but that doesn't mean I don't miss my family of God over in Boston. Over the past year, unseen things have been happening in my life: stronger relationships, a clearer picture of how sinful I am, a better appreciation of the way we're built and wired and further confirmation of how I am and always will be a debtor of love. The past week was filled with fun, but at the same time, an underlying current of sadness because I knew that I wasn't going to be there with my sisters for about a year once I left. I cannot begin to describe how dependent I have grown on the support and encouragement that I've experienced. Being loved, attempting to love without expecting any in return (and usually failing) - I know that God's been extremely faithful and merciful to me. I'm grateful that Cathleen will be coming to visit in august *yay yay YAY!* - and maybe... just maybe.. I'll be able to see Linda, Hoi See and Jenny.. well, till then, we will just have to be good and keep in touch the usual way. That said, I should go fulfil my promise and go get a webcam. Gah. Perhaps the PC expo or whatever it is? Now that I'm here, I want to make the best use of my time as possible (ok, yes, I know I always begin by saying such things and then it goes downhill- but I shall try!).. go get back in shape.. go meet up with people.. go learn something.. and go join Andrea's cell! Thats concrete goal #1. Maybe goal #0.5 will be to survive the heat. Got back early in the morning and thought it was hot. Took a few steps out in the afternoon thought it was blistering. Hid in the air conditioned mall. Acclimatized to language and crowds. Went back outside. Still thought it was hot. Thank God for dear mom who drove, so for now I'm spared from sidewalk heat and bus -stop-waiting humidity oppression. Wish uniz and twin were here- it'll be ages before I see you two again! On the bright side.. fen will be back soon :)
