Blessed Birthday Dearest Uniz!

The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace
- Numbers 6: 24- 26

I need my God.
Simple as that.
Where would I be without my ever present source of joy?
Where would I get my strength?
Who would I lean on when I'm alone?
Who can I depend on so fully and completely?
Who knows me inside and out, my every thought before I even verbalize them?
What in this world can comfort me when I feel as though everything is wrong?
Who is there at every moment, and doesn't have a schedule to consult?
Where can I find a better listener?
How can anyone have so much patience with me?
Why does He keep coming back even when I hurt Him?
Who has the means to move my mountains and part my seas?
Who watches out for me at every moment, every second, every minute, 24/7?
Who catches me and ensures that when I trip, I don't fall that bad?
Who has an everlasting crush on me?
What in the world does He see in me?
How does He anticipate my every need?
When will I learn how to forgive others the way He forgives me?
Why did He suffer so much and die for me?
How is it that such an important person cares about how many hairs I have on my head?
Who is the most thoughtful?
Who surprises me?
When I give up, who takes over in the most trustworthy manner?
Who never complains about how I don't make time for Him?
Who has my life planned out in the best possible way?

and most of all... who is it that can love me so completely and wholly, even after knowing how I am, listening to my selfish whining, bearing with my thoughtlessness and ungratefulness and accepts me as I am, warts, flaws and all?
Noone but Him.
I need my God.
Simple as that.

My poor laptop is so scratched! Well, it is probably my fault, since I stick it in my (very oddly colored but apparently me-defining) bag intermittently without a case- exposing it to all the dangerous things that are in there. My furry pencilcase (which dear uniz gave to me) for one. The ever present orgo lab file for another. Goodness knows what life would be without these two.
Today must've been one of the most active Saturdays I've had in a long while: I woke up early (so early that the dining halls weren't open yet! actually.. it was 7.30 lol) and went to work at admissions. Read my psyc reading while we waited for "business" to arrive- and it did, in the form of a father and a daughter for the 10am tour. So off we went, me leading and yakking at what was probably breakneck speed while dragging them all round campus. Most of the time, I probably sound out of breath. Which I am. Come to think of it, I've been doing so many tours this week. I like being outside when its nice- and my definition of nice is that the temperature is above 10 deg C and there is a small amount of sunshine- and today was gorgeous. And I love talking about Wellesley, because its work, but it isn't, as long as I don't do it too often. Otherwie I end up missing things, mixing up information from one tour to the next.. just general confusion. But back to the present. After work I spent some time with Monica at the lib- I'm positive that she was productive but all I managed to do was almost wear out my eraser. See, we have data from chem lab that we're supposed to analyze but for some reason I kept missing a carbon or having an extra hydrogen. At one point I thought I had struck gold with a structure, but it was missing a nitrogen. It seems inconceiveable that something as small as an atom can cause so much headache, but I assure you- it does. Its as though there is a stone in your shoe and you just can't get it out no matter how many methods you use. Well, the conclusion of that is that I may have something that works but my brain did not want to cooperate anymore. So I jogged over to the library in town (because I was afraid it would be closed by the time I got there)- oh! I wore shorts outside today!!! (you have to understand that this simple act has not occured since I left singapore) - and picked up books that I requested earlier. That was fun.
Following that Cath and me had a difficult time deciding what kind of flowers to buy for our friends who performed at the chinese cultural show tonight (and that kind of tells you what I did at night).
Suffice to say that its been more than 17 hours since I've had rest... panda eyes tomorrow!
